Spicy Ideas: IACC’s NEW ‘Bright Ideas’ Webinar Series

As a meeting planner, how do you choose what educational events you’ll attend when there is already little time in your busy day? First, the most important requirement is that it must be worthwhile. Well, the concept is near with our novel idea of the day! The International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) has partnered with The Conference Publishers for monthly webinars on topics that cover the hottest trends in the industry. Each month, a new professional in the meetings industry will host a webinar where you can explore topics more in-depth at your office desk.

Here’s the debut details for the ‘Bright Ideas’ webinar series:

First webinar: Thursday, December 8th

Topic: Hybrid Meetings

Presenter: Samuel J. Smith, co-founder of Event Camp conference and principal of Interactive Meeting Technology, LLC.

Mission: The webinar will look at how to add a virtual component to face-to-face offerings, and how to create hybrid events that bring together clusters of participants in several different locations. For your events this knowledge can help generate a larger audience, facilitate in attendance for those who are unable to travel and create an online community.
