Last week on Thrill of the Grill, Chef Mason covered dry rub and how to smoke your meat on the grill. Here’s a delicious recipe to try this weekend! What better way to kick off the first official weekend of the summer?

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: Makes about 1 ½  cups

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup kosher salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons paprika

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well; use as a dry rub on beef, chicken, lamb or pork.
